Moon Area School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.

Now in its 25th year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement for providing music access and education to all students.

It is our honor to recognize individuals who are making a difference in our schools and beyond through our Distinguished Alumni Award and our Service Legacy Award.

Throughout the month of March, MASD students in grades K-6 participated in IXL March Madness, a friendly academic competition that engaged students in a fun and challenging way. This exciting opportunity was made possible through a partnership with our Moon Township McDonald's location.

Registration for the 5th annual Moonlit 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is still open! Register by April 22 to guarantee a race t-shirt.

Second grade students at Bon Meade Elementary School wrote friendly letters to the first responders of Crescent Township. A student from each second grade classroom delivered the letters and treats to the Crescent Township Department.

Bon Meade Elementary School recently hosted an Art and Music show.

Miss Teeple displayed artwork from the K-4 students, and the first and second grade students performed Barnyard Moosical under the direction of Mrs. Seifarth. 

The Bon Meade PTC provided several food trucks to round out the evening. A good time was had by all!
