Moon Area School District will host two town hall meetings in March. The purpose is to engage in an open discussion regarding our elementary school structure and the support systems we provide for our students. Your input is invaluable as we plan for a successful future at Moon Area School District.
Bon Meade Elementary students enjoyed an assembly with Brandon White, youth mover and motivational speaker.
Mr. White is a former professional ballroom dancer whose positive message resonated with staff and students alike! Through movement, life stories and his presence alone, Mr. White taught Bon Meade that being brave means facing your fears rather than “not being afraid!”
January's word of the month was perseverance. Bon Meade Elementary students were chosen because they continually work hard, even when they are faced with challenges! These top 25 students had the opportunity to enjoy snow cones with Dr. Furlow.
Engineers from Eaton, led by Antonia Wilson, recently spoke with Bon Meade Elementary students about engineering, chemical reactions, and STEAM projects.
Students were excited to watch and engage in their presentation. All students received a STEAM kit that they can build on their own!
Thank you to Ms. Wilson and her colleagues at Eaton for visiting Bon Meade and donating the STEAM kits!
